More than photography
I see myself as an educator as well as photographer.
I run photography workshops and even wrote a book to help you document your child’s life. It’s called “Watch me grow. A 12-step guide to photographing your baby's first year.”
I believe the baby’s first year is so rapid and beautiful, that every parent should document the journey. It’s why I created Our Beautiful Journey – a photographic journey of your baby’s first year, from tummy to tippy toes.
Newborn and family photography isn’t wildly known like weddings photography. But I believe it’s far more meaningful.
As adults, we have no memory of being cradled as a baby and doted on by our parents. It can almost seem like it never happened. That our parents didn’t spend day in day out caring for us, making sure we were fed and healthy.
But they did – and the photos help us remember.
Because more than taking beautiful photos, I know how to connect with babies to capture who they really are on camera.
